There are about 20 Korean Schools running in weekends or after-School hours. About 300 Korean volunteer teachers are working diligently to teach approximately 1,700 Korean students, not only the Korean language and culture but also helping to develop their identity as Kiwi-Koreans living as global citizens.

KEC supports these Korean Schools with their educational activities, text books, professional development for teachers and other events with EFKA (The Educational Foundation for Korean Abroad) and OKF (Overseas Korean s Foundation)
